Rhino’s Revenge had been out on the road throughout 2018/19 and we were thrilled to have them back at 

convention, this time with a different line-up:

Convention regulars JCQ once again completed our weekend. The band are more popular than ever and continue to have a full diary – we were delighted to welcome them back.

The band are:

Pete Mace on vocals and guitar

 

 

When Rick Parfitt Jnr appeared on stage at the Status Quo Convention in 2017 there wasn’t a dry eye in the place and this time Rick agreed to bring his own band.

Before the event Rick commented: “Looking forward to being back and this time bringing my band. BIG BIG rock show planned for you xxx”

 

 

Status Quotes hail from Holland and we are extremely pleased that they agreed to headline for us on the Friday night.

The band are:

Harry Kruisselbrink – bass/harmonica/vocals

Rens Hardijzer on drums

Another welcome return to convention. Jackie, famous for ‘is there anybody out there that wants to rock’, was accompanied by his band

 

 

 

Who could forget Stated Quo’s version of ‘Get Down Get With It’ at the 2015 convention? We were delighted to have them back!

The band are:

Mike Grady on vocals, lead guitar, harmonica

Jimmy Glynn on vocals, rhythm guitar and harmonica

Simon Fenton on vocals and bass guitar

Al Bowerbank on drums

 

State of Quo are one of the UK’s longest-established and most popular Status Quo tribute bands. The band started out in 1995 and have had several line-up changes since then.

They have played countless gigs all over the UK and Europe.

The band are:

Paul Carr on vocals and rhythm guitar

Ian Hill on vocals and lead guitar

Dave Owen on drums

Brian Smith on bass guitar

 

Piledriver hail from Essen in Germany. Formed over 20 years ago they bring their own style to the classic 70s Quo sound. They played a mix of Quo classics and their own original material

The band are:

Peter Wagner on lead guitar

Marc Hermann on bass guitar

Rudi Peeters on keyboards

Tim Dermuth on drums

Michael Sommerhoff on rhythm guitar

 

Ryders Creed opened the 2017 Status Quo Convention and following the great feedback from then were pleased to announce they agreed to open the 2019 event as well.
