QUO CONVENTION AUCTION LOT LIST – part 1

 

We are delighted to have been offered some exclusive Quo items for auction from a Fan Club member.

This will be on a cash only basis.

Some items are expected to reach between £100 and £200.

 

1): ‘Fakin’ The Blues’ limited edition, hand-numbered fan club CD – No.1 of 1,500 – with a specially commissioned insert telling the story of the song’s cancelled release as a single.  Features ‘Fakin’ The Blues’ Edit, ‘Fakin’ The Blues’ (album version), ‘Heavy Daze’ and ‘Better Times’.

2):  One of only 200 ‘Heavy Traffic’ Orient Express Launch goody bags.  Contains ‘Jam Side Down’ CD1 (with Video CD Rom) and CD2 (with two previously unreleased tracks), Quo baseball cap, Quo T-shirt, band postcard, disposable camera, passport wallet and press pack. 

3): ‘Riffs’ album branded 250-piece prototype Wentworth wooden Jigsaw puzzle.  The only one ever produced.

4):  Prototype Real Leather waistcoat (size L/XL) with never-before-seen or used Quo 40th Anniversary logo embroidery.  One of a kind. 

5): ‘Quid Quo Pro’ autographed promo album, never available in stores and signed by Francis, Rick, Andrew, Rhino and Matt.  

6): ‘Rock n Roll ‘n’ You’ autographed promo single, never available in stores and signed by Francis, Rick, Andrew, Rhino and Matt. 

7):  One of two ‘Riffs’ branded point of sale display boards.  Measures 60 x 150 cm.  

8):  The second of two Riffs branded point of sale display boards.   Measures 60 x 150 cm.    

9):  One of two guitar Facelift exhibition display boards.  Measures 110 x 185 cm.  Not in the best condition.  Needs some glue and TLC.

14): ‘The Party Ain’t Over Yet’ branded Quo alarm clock.  Battery included! 

15): ‘Pictures’ tour ‘Live At Montreux’ DVD, autographed by Francis, Rick, Andrew, Rhino and Matt.

16): ‘Just Doin’ It Live’ DVD, autographed by Francis, Rick, Rhino and Andrew.  

17):  The first of only two prototype Zippo lighters ever produced to commemorate four decades of Quo.  A previously unseen 40TH anniversary logo is laser-etched on brass.  his item was never otherwise produced or put on sale.

19):  Black and white photo of Francis and Rick, autographed by both.

21):  Set of three plectrums – one from Francis, two from Rick – used by Quo while performing ‘All Stand Up (Never Say Never)’ on Top of The Pops on September 12, 2002. 

22):  Set of two plectrums – one each from Francis and Rick – used during Quo’s performance at the Hellendoorn Festival in Holland on May 11, 2002. 

23):  Set of two plectrums – one each from Francis and Rick – used during Quo’s performance at the Tufertschwil Festival in Switzerland on August 16, 2002.
