I Talk Too Much Tour Summer 2021

15 June 2021
Francis Rossi regrets to announce the forced cancellation of the first fourteen dates that had been rescheduled for the Francis Rossi Talk tour 2021. The dates affected are between June 29 and July 18 [Margate – Stockport] and these are now cancelled.
Refunds are available with immediate effect from your original point of purchase. Due to the venue’s congested calendars only the Stamford date has been successfully re-scheduled to the 1st of September 2021.
UPDATE: 26/11
A further five shows have now been added to the I Talk Too Much tour. Tickets are not yet on sale; we will let you know as soon as they go on sale.
The new shows are: Tamworth, Blackburn, Sale, Leamington Spa, Poole.
Peterborough is now confirmed.
Message from A Way With Media:
Francis Rossi’s forthcoming tour, I Talk Too Much, will now take place in Summer 2021, having been rescheduled from Spring 2021.
A number of the venues had contacted the tour’s promoter indicating that, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, they would not be open in the first quarter of next year and would therefore be unable to fulfill the advertised dates.
We are confident that the shows will be able to go ahead in Summer 2021, and all previously booked tickets will be automatically transferred to the new dates.
Please DO NOT contact your local venues regarding the matter; many are closed due to the present lockdown or operating with reduced staffing. We are in constant contact with venues and their staff and are processing this change for you: YOUR TICKETS WILL BE VALID FOR THE NEW DATES. If you are unable to attend the new Summer 2021 dates then refunds will be available from your point of purchase.
Please note the following exceptions:
St Albans and Leicester have been cancelled, due to a lack of venue availability.
Performances at Stafford, Hastings and Newport are still to be confirmed, as those venues are presently unstaffed and therefore unable to confirm a move to the July/August schedule.

To fans disappointed by Dundee Rep’s decision to cancel Francis Rossi’s show, it’s important to make the following points:
The show was cancelled without the promoter’s agreement.
The promoter was also unaware that the venue was contacting fans and did not know refunds were being made or that people were being asked to make donations to the theatre.
We are keen that fans don’t miss out. There is capacity at Dunfermline Alhambra Theatre on March 20 – Francis will also extend the meet’n’greet so that nobody from Dundee misses out. The Alhambra is a larger theatre and it will be possible to accommodate everybody who had bought a ticket for Dundee, so that nobody misses out.

Rescheduled Francis Rossi I Talk Too Much 2021 dates

We’re pleased to announce that every postponed date from Francis Rossi’s ‘I Talk Too Much Tour’ has now been rescheduled. All of your tickets for the 2020 shows remain valid for the 2021 shows. Please retain your tickets.

Those who have meet’n’greet packages, VIP packages and standard tickets can look forward to seeing the show in their local venues in spring 2021, when we all hope that the threat of Covid-19 has passed.

Francis was one of the first British entertainers to postpone his tour – making the decision before the Government asked people to avoid visiting theatres. He did so to avoid the risk to fans – and is now looking forward to repaying their faith in him by touring next year and meeting thousands of fans across England, Scotland and Wales.

Francis said: “It was a tough decision to postpone the tour, but the health and welfare of our fans was the top priority. We’ve worked very quickly to reschedule the dates – making sure that has been done within 48 hours.

“So the message now is simple: fans can hold onto their tickets and we can all catch up and have a good time in spring next year. It’s not too long to wait – and I’d rather be meeting fans when it’s safe to do so for everyone. See you on the road. It won’t be long. Stay safe.”

Francis Rossi

Album, Book and Spoken Word Tour!

Francis Rossi, founder of the mighty Quo, is gearing up for a busy 2019. Rossi, a bona fide musical legend, has confirmed the release of a collaborative album with vocalist Hannah Rickard, a brand new autobiography written with Mick Wall, and a spoken word UK tour that will see him and Wall tour the country discussing his Quo guitarist’s illustrious career and taking questions from fans.

‘We Talk Too Much’ is the title of the album by Rossi / Rickard – the pair met when Hannah Rickard worked with Status Quo on the hugely successful ‘Aquostic’ projects. Reconnecting with one of Rossi’s true loves, this is a collection of Country-flavoured duets and is due for release 15 March 2019 via earMUSIC. Featuring all brand-new material, and boasting writing credits for Rossi and Rickard as well as Quo stalwart Bob Young, this album has been a true labour of love.

The new autobiography, ‘I Talk Too Much’, is to be published by Little, Brown on 14 March 2019. This gripping brand-new book has been created in conjunction with award-winning writer and broadcaster Mick Wall, who has sold more than 1 million books. In this explosive new memoir, the famously indiscreet Rossi reveals the true-life stories behind his unbelievable career. Painfully honest at times, the book covers the glory years, the dark days, the ups and downs of his relationship with the late Rick Parfitt and the real stories behind the creation of some of the greatest rock music of all time.

Rossi will share the extraordinary secrets of his 50-plus years in rock’n’roll when he takes to the stage for an intimate evening at 36 theatres across the UK. Kicking off on 20 March 2019 in Whitley Bay and culminating on 20 May in King’s Lynn, the ‘I Talk Too Much’ tour, will feature Francis – joined by Mick Wall – sharing some of the best Rock ’n’ Roll stories ever, accrued during an extraordinary life on the road. Expect laughter, revelations, tales involving some of the giants of music, exclusive video clips, snatches of classic tunes and a great night out. Rossi said: “This show is something new for me. It will be live and unscripted, so god knows what could happen! One thing’s for sure though, it’ll be a white-knuckle ride for me, but fans will get a real unvarnished insight into what’s happened over the years.  I’ll be taking a guitar along to demonstrate how some of those Quo classics came into being, and hopefully we’ll take a few questions from the audience too. It’s been quite a journey, there’s a lot to share.”

2019 will be a year like no other: with an album, book and tour, Francis Rossi has truly stretched himself creatively but is also connecting as never before with the loyal fanbase built up over fifty years of creating history with Quo. Honest to a fault and always good company, ‘I Talk Too Much’ is aptly named, don’t miss Francis Rossi spilling the beans as never before!
